Add Captions to Photos - Overview

You can write captions, up to 248 characters long, for each photo in your album. You can caption one or many photos at a time. Captions are available only for display of your photos. Your captions will not appear on prints developed through the Photo Center.

If you have already shared the album containing these photos, your friends will see the new captions the next time they look at your shared pictures.

Please note: You cannot change the captions in your friends' albums; only the owner of the album can create new captions.

Captions created for displaying your photos are not applied when selecting photos for photo gifts and projects, such as calendars and photo books. You will need to create new captions while you are creating your gifts and projects.
